I know 3 people in my circle who would be the immediate market for one.

I believe the reason this Fiat is such a success is that while it is sophisticated, it is not complicated. The single motor with front drive setup is much simpler than the multiple motor power trains, which means less batteries required. The Fiat can be be charged from level 2 outlets in a more reasonable amount of time. We have to warn people who rent an EV from us that "Oh, by the way, the nearest level 3 charging station is 25 miles away."

This Fiat was developed using the lessons learned from its predecessor, the Fiat 500e compliance car. While the new version is much superior to the original compliance car, it still uses the same battery supplier and power train layout. The Fiat doesn't come across with the everything outsourced persona of say the Chevy Bolt.

Whats not to like about the new Fiat 500e? It is not available here. I need a new vehicle now and can no longer afford to wait.
