Yesterday's CC was PSA and PSA only. Not a single word about FCA. He even disrespect FCA few times. Of course his words will mean nothing if actions are different. So far it doesn't sound nice.

Seeking Alpha even put it into PSA section.

I heard that @TripleT is overjoyed with Conference Call. :D
Yeah, definitely it was a weird one....

@Bili
That transcript isn’t accurate then
It was about “Yesterday's CC was PSA and PSA only. Not a single word about FCA”.

Carlos said FCA too many times to count.
The video is right on the first post.....

Actually I listen to the whole durn thing.
Carlos even thanked the employees of FCA & PSA at the end.
He may but what I'm looking it as technical level, development and similar. It was all about PSA for him. All about PSA platforms, PSA electrification projects, PSA transmission and even engines. I that's not PSA and PSA only I don't know what it is.

Even in the posted transcript he says that the technical exchange goes both ways. Both companies have different strengths. I don't see much of a preference for PSA. Of course he has more insider knowledge of PSA than FCA.

French are not Italians and vice verse. Technical impoverishment could work for some French car makers but it's delusional to expect for Alfa Romeo. Alfa did that and failed every time. Alfa need to focus on more driver oriented cars, make full car line up and also focus on customer experience. That will be long and extensive work.

Rebadge PSA cars with unique sheet metal and you could even fail as Fiat and make inadequate Abarth and for sure fail as Alfa Romeo.
I mean look at Ford Puma ST and then take a look at Opel Mokka. Alfa... Ehm Opel Mokka is nowhere near Ford at driving level.
So we could have disaster in the making.

Halo cars could be GTV or 8C. Something even more extreme. Halo cars are not Giulia or Stelvio. They are just proper RWD Alfas.

We need some proper FWD Alfas at the bottom.
Alfa was technically impoverished ever since Fiat got their hands on them. And that's from the time when both of us were wearing diapers.

That makes a few of us. I'm sure one person whose initials are a French car brand is NOT overjoyed RE Alfa staying the course in the US. Said individual will just have to sulk, I guess.

LOL

He is not happy with Alfa and no PSA platforms in the US for some time.

@TripleT actually doesn't like it. It was a joke. Maybe he can say why he doesn't like it.

I'm out of the loop. Who was pissed of with that?
It's more than obvious that PSA/FCA merger is more to bring synergies to Europe. In the US they have their autonomy to keep doing what they're doing. Maybe now some will understand that the "italians" don't have anything to do with the starving of product for Chrysler and Dodge.
