So first I must say sorry I have been out of the loop for a year but I have been reading trying to get caught up but I have a few questions,

First, I can no longer find anything about the Chrysler CUV that was rumored and supposedly testing as a cherokee so anyone know what happened?
Next last I remember the new Challenger/Charger were going to debut in 2020 as 2021 models but looks like that changed to 2022 debut?
Also I thought the Wagoneer was going to show first but now it looks like all three (Grand Cherokee Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer) are all debuting 2020 as 2021 models?
Lastly, What happened to all the insiders both here and on allpar? It seems like everyone left or isn't saying anything anymore which is one of the big reasons I read these forums.

Thanks in advance.

FCA has been switching things around a lot lately based on production capacity.

Challenger and Charger won't get replaced till late 2022. Lots of new stuff still coming for the current cars, including Charger SRT HELLCAT Redeye. 300 will stay a couple of more model years.

Journey is at the end of its life and Dodge not Chrysler is working on a new SUV. It will not be a direct replacement for the Journey. We will talk more about it at a later time. A Chrysler SUV is still rumored to in the works based on Cherokee architecture.

As for the Insiders, we are all here but busy working in personal lifes or writing articles for cover stories for MoparInsiders.com. Should read the site on a daily basis, especially the weekends.

Thanks. I would read it all the time if I could but I am unable to do so, besides it gives me more to look at every 6 months to a year. :)

Are they at least considering interior updates for the LX cars? Maintaining those models until 2022 would require that at least...

I hope Stellantis is able to properly pair/team up some of the regional brands in the former FCA and PSA portfolios. For example, Chrysler should be tied to Opel-Vauxhall with US, EU, UK trade being cheap. Waivers are always available and governments want to keep factories and distributors viable. Chrysler, like Buick and Saturn before it, dosen't need every vehicle and should be contributing CUVs and Minivans.

Dodge would be perfectly matched with Alfa and sporty Maserati models only discontented with unique skin. Dodge need not go all EV right anyway and could demand a middle Acura-like pricepoint if not better as a nice sport, muscle, excitement brand. Reskinned Jeeps like Durango are a no brainer, too. Ideally, Dodge is where the best parts of MOPAR come together.

Jeep Wagoneer is ready to be a luxe sub brand. Reskins can also be sold as Maserati, Alfa, DS. This brand could both directly and indirectly earn Stellantis billions. RAM luxury trucks would come from this R&D.

Peugeot, Citroen, Opel, Vauxhall and Chrysler should be the same mechanically with unique skin and per personality. FIAT in Europe should be a Dacia-like discounter or a scalled down Opel with unique skin because economic nationalism matters in the EU. Lancia and DS will be interesting as they aren't necessary brands (aside from Epsilon in Italy).

If I were Carlos Taveres Alfa would he for sale at the right price. Then again, I'm not Carlos and no one important will ever read this!! LOL
