So we've got a thread for our favorite driving music, but what are some of your favorite TV shows? Personally, I prefer comedy shows but I like suspense and drama shows occasionally too. Here is a list of some of my favorites:

1. The Office
2. Schitt's Creek
3. Community
4. Parks & Recreation

These are some shows I'm a fan of:
  1. MythBusters (Adam and Jamie era).
  2. Various UFO shows (MUFON Files being higher up on the list of many for me).
  3. Star vs the Forces of Evil (animated show, it's like Gravity Falls to some extent).
  4. Forged in Fire (think "Chopped" but with weapon forging).
  5. Battle Bots (robot battles, what more could you ask for?)
  6. Teen Titans (the good one).
  7. Street Outlaws (guilty pleasure).
  8. Modern Marvels (old show on History channel).
  9. How It's Made (I don't get through an entire episode all the time, but it's still entertaining).
  10. Mighty Med (Disney action-sitcom thing. Essentially the premise of the show was a superhero hospital. An interesting concept IMO).
I think that's about it. @Ryan love The Office, haven't gotten through all episodes yet though.

I always liked Mythbusters and the paranormal/UFO shows too. Although there's a 100% chance that shows about Bigfoot, aliens, UFOs, and chupacabras will end up with "we didn't find anything this time, but we will continue our search." It's still entertaining.

I don't have satellite TV anymore though, cancelled in favor of Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime.

I've been getting way hooked on some Area 51 episodes today. It's a doggone rabbit hole I can't crawl out of, haha. It's like a mini-hobby for me.

There's a show called "What on Earth" on Science Channel and one episode they were trying to figure out how certain shapes in the ground formed (like a crop circle but more intricate). It took 1 HOUR for the episode to end and by that time it turned out a local farmer was making them... you're statement about them likely not finding anything couldn't be any truer. That kinda sucked to find out after "on again, off again" watching that episode.

Cable bruh :cool::p

In regard to The Office, be careful... it's super addictive. Every time I want to watch TV my first instinct is to watch The Office. Not even exaggerating, I've watched all nine seasons at least six times.

I saw a study done somewhere and the theory is that since it takes place in the same environment in every episode, our brain takes comfort in the familiarity of the environment and characters and it can actually be a form of stress relief - exactly what I need!

Schitt's Creek is very addicting too and might be tied with The Office as my favorite show now.

All those, plus Bob's Burgers, Arrested Development, Suits, 30 Rock

Suits is awesome, probably my favorite show right now. Its really the only show I watch regularly I do d that I don't have much time for TV these days. I'm going to have to make a little more time to watch some TV and unwind.

I'm certainly attracted to the idea of them being in the same place but getting up to different stuff. It's always a case of "oh dear, what'd Michael/other characters do now" for me (within the confines Dunder Mifflin iirc).

I used to like TG (Clarkson era)... but the more episodes that featured American cars the more I began to dislike watching the show. Because a lot of it was "painting with a broad brush" claims that I just can't stand now (because I've argued with far too many people who argue in the same broad fashion). With that being said, I've heard the new TG (post-Chris Evans) is humbler (with the anniversary celebration of the Citroen 2CV, rather than just bashing it). Given that, I'll probably pick it up again soon-ish.

I honestly don't watch a lot of television... but if I do watch any its usually reruns of stuff...

  • The Office
  • Parks & Recreation
  • Superstore
  • The Sopranos
  • Daredevil
  • That 70's Show
  • Seinfield
  • Corner Gas

That's about it. I watch more YouTube videos than anything, like Cleetus McFarland and what not.

I usually end up rewatching Superstore, Parks & Rec, The Office, or Schitt's Creek. Sometimes I don't have the patience to start a new show so I just watch the same thing for the 50th time. About to finish Parks & Rec again.

I'm currently watching Ray Donovan. It's on HBO GO in my country. It's on the Showtime in US.
