For the past several years, the future of the Chrysler brand has been in question. What will happen to the 96-year-old American brand that was the namesake of one of Detroit’s Big-3 automakers? Well, that question was answered today with the first public unveiling of the all-new Chrysler Airflow Concept at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I have two thoughts on this article. The first is I am happy to hear that Chrysler has a future and is going to continue as a brand. Secondly, I feel it is appropriate that Chrysler is the new technology brand for Stellantis. Historically, the Chrysler brand has been about engineering and new technology. Identifying Chrysler as the lead in new technology for Stellantis will only help to continue and enhance the Chrysler brand.

I am surprised at the 2025 target (even if MY). This seems farther along and looks to be based on some other STLA underpinnings. Testing for NTSA would take a year or so. I would have guess (uneducated) at a 2024 MY vehicle being released in limited fashion in Q2 2023 and full availability in late 2023.

I do hope there is not a /gap/ fill with a rebadge of another model that tarnishes the rebirth runway that has been created for the brand.

Man, imagine this as a wagon with PHEV.

Would make a great Prius replacement for us...

My wife is asking when the Grand Cherokee is out with the PHEV.... she doesn't want BEV but would like some of it benefits.

Color me shocked because I have never heard her even care about the powertrain. She thing her Stelvio is too small. We are empty nesters and I have no idea why we need something big.... but I just work here.. .I live here.

So what is going to happen to pacifica? I can't see not having a PHEV or ICE minivan in that short of timeframe. Dodge Caravan makes a return?

Fully Electrified doesn't necessarily mean ICE only.
