Which do you all prefer, Chemical Guys or Adam's Polishes? I have tried both and have had better success with Chemical Guys. I just got some of their ceramic coating protectant stuff and of course, we get hit with a massive snowstorm.

I can't say I've ever really understood the hype behind either brand. I've tried some of their stuff, and wasn't ever blown away, which is what I expected with the hype.

I can't remember how much I liked their detailers, but I tried the "TORQ Professional" foam cannon from Chemical Guys and let me just say, it's really flimsy and broke after only a few uses.

I have that model, it works ok. I ended up buying a little electric pressure washer for $80 at Menards that actually came with a better foam cannon.

I don't like either tbh, they're both more of a "flashy" company more then anything. There products are alright but they put a lot of time into the design of the bottles and whatnot to get sales that way

I ended up trying a product from Adams that i haven't tried before after a lot of detailers said is good. I got adams car shampoo and it's really good at a really good price. Keeps it's suds for a long time, very slick, and can be used in a foam cannon

Good morning, I can't say I have really had any dealings with either company except to have made a purchase from Adams Polishes and the purchase was not any of their polish or automotive washes. I bought some Hand Sanitizer from them. When every one else didn't have hand soap and or hand sanitizer they changed their operation to making hand sanitizer. I want to give them a great big thumbs up for that, and that they will sell to the general public. 👍👍

After going to like 50 web sites of reviews on ceramic coatings and similar products, even more confused. Nearly 50 different answers/opinions. Even reading the user reviews on Amazon, far too many complaints on EVERY product/brand about streaks, blurriness, doesn't last very long, blah, blah...
So, as much as a PITA as it is to wax a vehicle the size of a Durango, looks like I'm in for an entire day of waxing as the weather cools down before winter. I liked the idea of a quick application with little elbow grease product, but not worth paying big $$$, and wind up with streaks that I have to spend hours buffing out anyways. Guess I'll wait until they perfect a better product before spending the $.

You gotta get a real coating like "cquartz ceramic coating." Work it in sections and you wont get any streaks. You just gotta polish the car before hand so the swirl marks wont be shown. There's no such thing as a fast easy coating that last

Bought a new 2021 Pacfica S in black with foreshadow wheels. Have been using Mother's CMX ceramic spray coating on it for about 6 months since we got it. AWESOME!!! My Pacifica S looks like a show everywhere we go in it. People ask me all the time what kind of vehicle it is because of it's shine and all. This product is available at WalMart and cost about $17. I apply it about every 6th wash or so.

May I ask why you just chose Adam's Polishes and Chemical Guys? I use Jax Wax myself and am very satisfied. And since I'm from and live in Ohio, it great if you can support an Ohio based company who also makes their products there, gives me a better feeling buying and using their products. I use their Hawaiian Quick Detailer on my Cordoba. I just used their Ceramic Paste Wax on my Town and Country S. See what you think.

I tried Ceramic and it always looked swirly to me on the dark green, went back to old fashion wax.
