No frunk, no funk.

Getting ready to hit the road in early 2022, the Cadillac Lyriq was unveiled in final production form in April this year. The good news is the electric crossover still looks fantastic with the concept’s sharp angles, slim headlights, and unique LED-lined grille carried over virtually unchanged. The same goes for the front trunk, which was absent in prototype form and this will remain unchanged for the production model.

I think so-called GM “car guys” phony it in on execution of development product every since Lutz left .

The appealing part of FCA-GM was the broom-ing of GM Execs vs “Merger of Equals” loving coexist with FCA-PSA execs.

it has a bonnet parting, did they just not want to injection mold a trunk liner, or hinge and latches??? Bizzare

This is the first "mainstream" vehicle using their Ultium platform. As this is a dedicated EV platform, packaging was supposed to be better than the Bolt, which also does not have a frunk. This seems to invalidate that claim.

"We focused on the rear cargo space" is not a valid reason for not including a front trunk. Is it so hard to focus on both? Other brands seem capable of that.

The bolts front is about as big as the 500, this has a formal car profile. It inexcusable for a Cadillac

Wild.

Maybe if the rear cargo room was better than all other competitors, but it's mid-pack lol
