I would be inclined to think that this is likely to be the easiest model to develop being directly related to the Giulia.

That's a good looking 2 door. Maybe this is what we keep hearing about ... Charger / Challenger and THE OTHER GT ?
Something on this platform with Mopar Power + Giulia handling would DESTROY Rustangs and Craparros ...

Looks like a photoshop of the current Infiniti with an Alfa front bumper IMO. Which, isn't a bad thing.

I would like the GTV to look significantly different from the Giulia sedan. Just like the 105 Series Giulia was different from the sedan and also the Alfettas. Alfa has a strong tradition of very beautiful coupes.

I am confident that a Ralph Gilles and the team at Alfa will do the GTV name proud with their design. I am sure it be a blend of typical Alfa elements mixed with a Giulia family resemblance, all while paying tribute to the greatness of the GTA nameplate.

RG owns a very, very nice GTA, remember. Also, as one of the world’s premier designers, he has to be ecstatic about being in charge of the GTA’s design, not to mention all of Alfa, Maser’, Dodge, Chrysler, Ram, Jeep, and Fiat. Those are some legendary names.

Is it in the works?
I haven't heard nothing about it lately.

Only two products are confirmed in 2019-2021. FWD based compact 'UV from Pomigliano and an unnamed specialty model from Modena. In the 5 year plan specialty model is a 8C.

From what I've heard big Alfa SUV could be made in Detroit and in that case that's a reason why they didn't mention it as a future product from Italy in 2019-2021.

"A new Alfa Romeo GTV will arrive in 2021, the company has confirmed ", according to Car Magazine. l do not know more than the rumours are fairly consistent, and ties in with the Alfa tradition:)

Yes, but that is nitpicking, my friend.:) However, l do like the idea of a Guilia coupe. As I mentioned earlier, that would keep the tradition alive.

Well... It's not in the plans for 2019-2021. In my previous post I gave a link to Union statement about future products for Italian factories.

Alfa Romeo E segment SUV which is not in the plan US based production alongside Grand Cherokee is very likely.

In the plan are Alfa Romeo FWD based compact SUV and a specialty model from Modena.

There is no word about Giorgio product from Cassino except D segment Maserati SUV. And of course Giulia and Stelvio restyling with a PHEV powertrain.

What is a specialty model? In my opinion they could abandon plans for both 8C and GTV and make just a one product which is directly related to a Maserati Alfieri and Ferrari Portofino.

Don't forget that for a Alfa Romeo compact SUV it was a long decision making beetwen Giorgio based and a FWD based model. In my opinion in that class FWD is a way to go and I'm happy because of it. But this could also open the door for a next generation Giulietta.

IMO this would alienatea good percentage of the Alfa fan base all over the world. This brand and coupes have been inseparable since the 1950s. As I am on several Euro Alfa forums, I can see that while most people have been very satisfied with the Giulia and Stelvio they really are struggling to replace their aging GTs and Breras. Some have defected to other brands. It's a big problem for them because they usually have another Alfa as a daily driver.
The 4C is too extreme for their Grand Turismo purposes. The 8C is likely to be too pricey for most of these potential buyers.
