They can't possibly be forcing the 3L engine on a $100K SUV, can they? For Series I-III in 2022 MY the B&P shows the 6.4 and 3L Hurricane as an upgrade option (LOL). In 2023, only the 3L is shwon.

Are they purposely trying to scare away buyers?

The 2023 Grand Wagoneer Series 1 only engine is the 6.4L Hemi----all other GW trims are 3L only. The 2023 Wagoneer Series 1 still has the 5.7L eTorque engine, but all other trims are 3L only.

Well, Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator come with a V6, and they are the 2nd best selling.

The best selling are GM trio and they are still V8, but also they have been longer in the market.

I’m pretty excited by the Wagoneer S concept, except for one issue, all electric. I am definitely interested in a luxury Jeep, exactly this size with a strait six twin turbo under the hood. I’m not on an electric future glide path to oblivion with this green agenda and I hope Jeep realizes the total incongruous reality of that agenda with this Wagoneer. Sure, I’ll have options, the world has not lost its mind, or common sense yet, but I sure like this concept in size, style and comfort. Hey Jeep, going all in on electric will be a dooms day path for this beautiful SUV.
In spite of the hysteria, electric, at best, must remain an option not a staple for anything on four wheels. The Wagoneer S needs a ICE under the hood to succeed. It does have four wheels and it deserves, indeed it demands options.
