Hello everybody !
I am new in the forum. I just sold my V6 2008 Charger and ready to pull the trigger on a brand new Challenger Scatpack WB. Any news about when will be possible to put an order for the 2022 year model? The Dodge website is only showing 2021 and I heard they are not taking any order for 2021.
thank you in advance.

Your guess is as good as mine as I am in the same position as you are. This micro chip situation really messed up everything. I can easily wait till 2023 when the micro chip problem is sorted out and 2023 could be the last year because I suspect this will be the last year of the current bodystyle.

You are doing the same thing I am for the Ram 1500s.

My local dealer here in Arizona placed an order for me last Friday for a 1320, and called to confirm the order this morning. You might want to check with another dealer...

Same thing here waiting to wait for micro chip shortage to end and find a dealership in CA to get Challenger SPWB at MSRP or less.

Not much invested or changed. Just decal and appearance packages so you know the end is near for the current Challenger bodystyle.

My order for a 2022 super stock was accepted
My 1320 was released from the plant on Friday, November 19th, just waiting to be shipped. Order was placed on October 22nd, so it took exactly 4 weeks to complete from time of order to release. Also, I was able to obtain the build sheet and the window sticker by adding the VIN number to these links:

Well my Challenger is still sitting waiting to be shipped. Looks like it may take as long to ship as it did to build. Dealer told me today I'll be lucky to get it by the end of December. Also, whenever it does ship they cannot tell me what day it will arrive, it will just show up when it shows up. How stupid is it that I can track a $5 item from Amazon or Ebay all the way to my mail box with a tracking alert that lets me know the minute it arrives, but Dodge cannot track a $50,000+ car? I do not understand...

Yehaw! Dealer called me yesterday to let me know my new 1320 will be here this week. They sold it to me for $500 under MSRP, are installing the factory rear delete kit at no cost, and I was approved for 0% financing for 72 months. Plus I am getting the backseat back with all associated hardware, seat belts, etc., just in case I ever sell the car. Buying those pieces later would cost a fortune. The way I did it only cost $1. I'll post a pic when I get it. Very excited!

HAPPY UPDATE:
CAR IS HERE!
Okay, to summarize my ordering experience, I ordered the car on a Friday afternoon on October 22nd. I had the VIN number on Monday October 24th. Car was released from the plant exactly four weeks later on Friday on November 19th. Car arrived at my Arizona dealer on the morning of December 8th, 19 days after being released. I'd say that was pretty fast all things considered.
Can't get down to pick it up until tomorrow, Friday December 10th. I'll post a picture tomorrow~

Yes, plus giving me parts and labor for the rear seat delete kit, so I'm very happy with the overall deal. Oh and they also priced matched Chryslerwarrantydirect.com for the 8 year zero deductible Mopar Maximum Care extended service plan. Works out good for me as I do not plan to mod it other than tires & wheels. In fact, I already have them. I purchased a new set of Factory OEM Demon race wheels, 18x4.5 skinny's for the front with Mickey Thompson 28/6.0R18LT tires, and 18x11 rears with Nitto NT05 315/40R18 tires. Yes, they will stick out on the back, but they will only be used at the drag strip. Should hook up even better than the Nexen 275/40R20 drag radials. The front & rear tires are within 1/10" in height which is good, and 1" shorter overall than the Nexen tires, so that might help a little at the line by reducing the overall gear ratio a tiny bit (3.09 to 3.17). My goal is to run super consistent times and I think the bigger sticky tires will help. Heck, if they're good enough for an 800+hp Demon, they should be good enough for a stock 6.4...

VERY UNHAPPY UPDATE : (
Just got home from the dealer and NO CAR. After driving 90 minutes down to the dealer they bring out a regular GT Scat Pack. Not the 1320 I ordered, but hey, it was in F8 Green. I knew at a distant glance it was the wrong car, had a shaker hood on it and 245 tires. They assumed it was mine, didn't even check the VIN number to confirm. I told them this was beyond stupid and left angry. Salesman called me back later apologizing and offered me another $500 off. I am totally good with that, but if the car does not get here by January 2nd I'm going to lose my 0% at 72 month financing, that is unless it is extended. Also told them next time they call me about the car arriving to send me a picture of the car and VIN number so I can verify it for them...
