Well having been a member of cherokeesrt8 since 2007 ..I watched this vehicle thru the years.. (I actually tried purchasing it about a year ago when it was on Craiglist in Seattle)

It did have it's fair share of teething pains.. going into limp mode many times on the track against Trackhawks.

However owning both a WK1 SRT8 and a 2018 Trackhawk... nothing compares to the WK2 Trackhawk.. the new 8 speed transmission is a dream.. heck my WK1 SRT made 530 HP normally aspirated and I only got about 11-12 miles per gallon at 65 MPH on the highway.

The Trackhawk with 707 HP gives me a repeated 16 miles per gallon at 80-85 MPH with small runs right up to 140 MPH.

No comparison.. the new technology just beats the WK1 with the Hellcat engine hands down..

I wouldn't trade for anything.....

Yeah, the factory software to allow the Hellcat motors to run in other modern Chrysler vehicles is a pain in the arse to get right. Our buddy, Charles is dealing with that in his Hellcat-powered Rebel
