    Belvidere assembly plant

Not confident this plant will ever open again. While making billions in profit. Stellantis has chosen Mexican labor over American labor. Electrification is just a excuse. Shame on you Carlos and Jeep. Gonna be a long time before my next Mopar purchase.

U.S. News & World Report Names Ram Truck ‘Best Truck Brand’.

Yet Ram hasn't added production capacity in America. If only Ram had 800k to 1 million in capacity. I checked the "rules" nothing says the Blue Oval can't be beat. Yes some of the increased sales will have to be fleet sales. If only Stellantis had a under utlized plant begging for work...

    2023 Ram 1500

It's November 18th. Have they started production? Not seeing any in Ram Inventories. Donlen which has been very accurate in the past had them starting production on November 1st, 2022. Not buying one but I like to see the yearly updates. Looking at 2024-25 to buy.

    Belvidere assembly plant

Thought the same thought lately. Don't be like GM workers who sold Lordstown down the road for some bonus payments.

Stellantis to open two more EV Battery plants in North America by 2030

I suspect Dundee gets one. FCA/Stellantis has shown it likes to repurpose plants instead of building new ones. Perfectly located within 90 minutes of the Detroit/Toledo plants. Looking at the satellite. I see plenty of room to expand. Michigan is desperate to keep plants in state. So I can...

Stop lying - Warren Truck shutdown is not chip related

I thought the electric Rams/full hybrids would go to Warren Truck (WTAP) Now I'm in doubt about that. I still saying taking whole shifts from Warren Truck to help Sterling Heights has put WTAP behind in quality. 2023 UAW negotiations will be fun. Let's start the product games.

A lot of AMC/Mopar history gone.

    Chrysler/Stellantis - Platform Codes:

Ram's biggest competition in GM and Ford both have newer models in the HD segment. GM and Ford will both remind customers of Ram's aging HD truck. I hope the not updating product is over with the death of FCA. These HD's are 15-20k profit per vehicle. Not building a new generation in this...

    Chrysler/Stellantis - Platform Codes:

When will the HD's get a new generation? FCA did a on the cheap heavy refresh in 2019. The HD's are big money markers and need a new generation after at least 13 years on the same platform.

    Plant Shuffle - 2023-2028

Belvidere Assembly has plenty of room to expand especially if the satellite stamping is done away with. Stellantis/FCA has experience with plant changeover from cars to trucks thanks to Sterling Heights. It is a darn shame to see Belvidere Assembly being under utilized. It could easily do 350k...

    Plant Shuffle - 2023-2028

Interesting topic. First of all yours truly badly wants a Ram Power Wagon but it has to be American built. So PLEASE come north HD'S. Marshall, Michigan has a build ready super site with rail access and dual Interstate access. Perfect spot for a Stellantis electric plant. Plus Michigan is a...
