Will this be more accessible? Recently had the pleasure of driving in a friends 2017 M3 with the BMW TTI6 and it was great. Barely could tell it wasn't a V8 except for exhaust note a certain times (but not all the time). Hopefully the Hurricane is like that.
Electrics are not selling and the reasons why are multiple. Those reasons will likely not be remedied by 2028 or in the near future so I wouldn't be surprised to see CARB state legislation modified at some point to accommodate reality.
Maybe if electric Charger sales are bad they'll add it to the Charger portfolio? I'm very happy to hear that Wagoner S will get some ICE treatment - it's a handsome car.
This stood out to me in the Plus Package "Premium LED Headlamps with Cross Car LED DRL Signature Light". So the grill wide DLR won't be stock. Will be interesting to see how this car gets priced.
The insiders were saying a refreshed car for 2019 and new platform for 2021. I was looking forward to an updated Hemi powered L car for 2019 and now after waiting I have this mess.
2020? The car has gone unchanged since 2015. Special editions and new trims are not generational updates. And yes, another issue with having taken so long is they will inevitably have issue the first few years. You're making the case to ditch the brand and shop elsewhere.
If it takes another few model years to get gas powered SXT/GT replacements or a mid-tier gas powered RWD performance model I'll be officially done with the brand - I'm already holding on by a thread. I've waited long enough and I'm still not sure I like what we've been shown for a next-gen but...
My question now that this has settled in is - what is replacing the GT trims? Will there be a GMET4 or Pentastar lower trim? Will the SO fill that role (can't imagine it would)? Or are these just going to be astronomically priced, upper trim only cars?
I get the same impression. 50-60k range to start I bet. Not sure if this is an apples to apples comparison but, the new 2025 Ram rebel with the I6 is about $5k more to start than the 2024 with Hemi. I get a feeling the Charger will see a hike like this... I hope not.
Very much looking forward to the S/O 4 door. I just hope its priced to sell and we avoid the Jeep pricing situation. I wonder, will the 4 door Sixpack have the same front end as the H/O coupe???
Per the website "Dodge isn't just adapting to the future; it's dragging it into the present, tire marks and all, staying true to its legacy of performance. A multi-energy gas lineup introduces the SIXPACK High Output 550 Horsepower two-door model and SIXPACK Standard Output 420 Horsepower...
According to Racer X on YouTube, he's hearing there won't be a gas engine in 2025. Only EV in 2 and 4 door. Said he's heard that* the factory isn't tooled yet for ICE Chargers... Can anyone verify? That would royally suck.
