Jeep® Announces It Will Unveil A New Vehicle On November 17th:

Very awesome to have a V8, especially a SRT V8!, back in the CJ/Wrangler. The premiums should be pretty lucrative. As long as FCA keeps hyping moderate to negligible changes as “new” vehicles, no one should expect an “all new” vehicle like the 3 row GC to arrive unannounced.

BREAKDOWN: 2021 Dodge Durango SXT & SXT Plus Models:

Hoping to get our new Durango by the end of the month. It’s now listed as in transit. SXT Plus with anodized platinum in reactor blue. I’m not a big fan of the blank mouth grill on the ‘21s but we’re very excited to get the updated interior!

LIVE: Return of Wagoneer, Reveal of Jeep® Wrangler Unlimited 4xe:

As expected, the exterior style is handsome but ultimately dull. The interior is great. Too bad the interior design is likely the most to change with this “concept”.

    The New F-150

A hybrid Tradesman that can supply power at a job site seems Like a huge market potential.

    The New F-150

Not beautiful but a big improvement over the chrome tonka truck monstrosities Ford has been putting out. The folding console shift lever is just idiotic. The fact the console is large enough to fold the handle down into it to “open up space” shows how ridiculously out of control the...

The Dodge Cuda Rumors Are Swirling Again:

So a Dodge Challenger ‘Cuda convertible... I’m not feeling it. The Cuda name is tied with performance so to tag it as a convertible option seems like a wasted opportunity. I’d advocate for the Cuda moniker to be the nimble, track model. Lightweight, handling focused, and a small twin turbo...

FCA Files For Dakota Trademark, Does It Mean A Midsize Truck Is Coming?

For the millionth time, there is no clear demand for a mid-size truck. There is plenty of demand for a cheaper truck which the 1500 classic fills perfectly. The true size/capability hole in the NA truck market is the 1980’s sized mini-truck.

The dig at the Raptor is some masterful shade throwing, lol.

FCA Announces Layoffs For Windsor As Grand Caravan Production Comes To An End:

I’d argue the Pacifica gives buyers a premium appointed vehicle at a very reasonable price. The segment just can’t command the transaction prices like it used too in its heyday particularly when competing against the crossover market. That’s why I think all the equity in the Caravan name is...

FCA Announces Layoffs For Windsor As Grand Caravan Production Comes To An End:

As much as I hate seeing the Caravan name go defunct, the equity associated with it is questionable at this point. Now before I get burned at the stake for saying that, the equity in the Caravan name is for a commodity product that frankly isn’t profitable as an updated, let alone all new...

CAUGHT: 2021 Dodge Durango Citadel AWD On The Street:

Excellent news to see the Citadel model will continue. When is the big reveal expected to be?

Jalopnik: The New Jeep Cherokee's Taillights Have An Idiotic Design

There’s a certain amount of that but other vehicle manufacturers have been criticized for “bad” taillight design as well. The current standards need to be revised to take modern illumination devices into account. I’d wager small and bright is more eye catching than large and dim.

Should FCA-PSA introduce a Full-Size Jeep EV (100%) Pickup,or leave it to RAM?

The E Hummer will be placed in the GMC brand so I’ll give myself credit for calling that one. The “engine” specs are annoyingly misrepresented. Using at the wheel torque is petty bull**** that I hope gets slapped down by truth in advertising advocates. Quit playing games GM and use...
