LEMON? Ownership Of Our 2023 Challenger Redeye Jailbreak Is Not Going Well!

I don't think it's as bad as you think it is. Disappointing? Yes. Bad? No. Losing the BUS (the communication network between modules) will throw a ton of codes, but the root cause us typically something as simple as a an open or shorted BUS circuit. It can be caused by something as simple as a...

More Details Drop On The New 2022 Fiat Pulse Crossover!

"7-speed CVT"? A CVT has an infinite number of gear ratios between A and Z. They don't have separate speeds. However, some are programmed to have "steps" programmed in to provide a simulated feel of gear changes like the Nissan CVT that was used in the Caliber/Compass/Patriot cars.

A Look Back At The Real Vehicle The New Hornet Is Replacing - The Dodge Nitro:

The M80 was such a cool concept. Initial internal documentation had it being built along side the JK Wrangler and share the chassis. However, I think it was the quietly planned de-mergering of Chrysler from Daimler that killed this project. To this day, I'm amazed at which projects, like the...

A Look Back At The Real Vehicle The New Hornet Is Replacing - The Dodge Nitro:

The Nitro, along with it's Cherokee counterpart, employed a unitized body and not BOF. Underneath, they were very similar to the larger WK, also a unitize body structure, but narrower and shorter.

Roadkill Nights Powered By Dodge Brought 38,000 Fans To Woodward Ave!

It was good to be back there again. This was the fist time my son decided to join me. He went on the skid pad thrill ride and came out of the car with a look on his face that I've never seen before LOL

Electric Or Bust! What Is Your Opinion?

Detroit News - Jeep model BEV coming in 2023, Dodge PHEV coming next year

New here, but not new to what's been going on in Auburn Hills. I think you're looking a bit too far ahead in the future. If you're looking at "next year" then the current Durango is the only option as there are plans for it to soldier on for the next few years. The new instrument panel is a dead...

Detroit News - Jeep model BEV coming in 2023, Dodge PHEV coming next year

My best guess, for the Dodge, is that the Durango is getting the 4xE powertrain shared with the GC.

Could The Next-Generation Dodge Charger & Challenger Be Built In America?

Don't count out Jefferson North. As the new Grand Cherokee comes on line at the new Mack Assembly and the Durango is phased out (possibly going BOF to Warren), then that leave JNAP with no product. The plant is already set up for large car RWD. Transitioning the L cars there makes more sense...

The Dodge Magnum SRT-8 Is Already Becoming A Future Classic Collector Vehicle:

I'll be curious to see what it sells for. Please make sure you post an update after it sells (assuming it sells). I haven't looked, but I've been told that the 2008 SRT is the most rare of the three model years as it was also the only model year with the minor updates that include the new front...

New here, but not new to Mopar products

Just giving an introduction to myself here. I don't join many online forums, but I guess it's time that I join this one. I've been into cars, and specifically Mopars, for as long as I can remember. My dad is a Chrysler retiree and, aside from a few off-brand classics, I've stuck with Mopar...
