Jeep® Brazil Gives Us A Sneak Peek At It’s All-New Commander (H1) SUV:

This One Won't Be Coming To North America...

Jeep® Brazil has launched its fourth tester, for its seven-passenger Commander (H1) SUV. The new Commander is the latest three-row SUV from the American adventure brand, however, it is very unlikely to set foot on American shores.

Boy would this make a perfect entry level SUV for Chrysler with a smart styling change. Of course it is just blowing smoke right now, but wouldn’t this make a perfect entry level Chrysler SUV ? Congratulations, again Jeep Brazil on another great job. Too strange to think they have this and poor Chrysler has nothing. Wouldn’t this make a nice Chrysler? Hint: the answer is YES.

Yes, this would be an appropriate Chrysler brand version of the Jeep Compass, given the claim that the Chrysler brand is the "People-Mover" brand, just like the Chinese Jeep Grand Commander was also supposed to be a Chrysler in the US. In which case, the Chrysler brand would then have several models under its wings, 300, Voyager, Pacifica, this 7-seater SUV and the Chinese SUV. But it appears Stellantis is continuing the FCA strategy of letting the Chrysler brand wither on the vine. Even after the launch of the 2024 generation of Hybrid/BEV/PHEV on the unified platforms, the only Chrysler known to be in the mix is a single crossover.

A question on this one is the model code. This is called an H1, but I think the Indian version is called the H6. Is that the correct body codes? I though I've also heard of an H4 at some point. Does that represent anything?

NO.... it won't margin enough to justify the implementation, would be better to build more Compass and lower the price.

the other problem is convincing NA that the 3rd row is usable, and that the loses in the second is OK.

Best leave this to the International markets and Passport that looks darn cool to the us fatties

Hornet SRT :D
Dunno if it will have SRT moniker but certainly it will be nice for non premium small compact SUV.

Of course Tonale is the other one but AFAIK Tonale will not have QV version, not even close.
Ex FCA has all tech to do it. This is IMO cost cutting decision. To he clear this predates Stellantis bit it slao important to note that Stellantis did nothing to change this action.
