So much rumble for a model which is unsaleable outside of US? I don't have anything against it but this marketing campaign is more suitable for dedicated US communication channels.

If this is true it's a big letdown. It's time for WLs and Compass MCA.

Wasn’t WL supposed to debut in Q4 2020??
TBH, with this much teasing and hype buildup, I don’t see them showing anything other than the 392 Wrangler.
Unless Jeep decides to pull a surprise..

LA Auto Show debut was planned in early September then LA Auto Show got cancelled.

Original date of LA Auto Show was at the end of November.

First, I’m really looking forward to getting the 392 into the JLU given the weight of the vehicle and the issues with the 3.0L diesel. Even mildly modified JLUs can tip the scales at over 6k lbs when full of fuel, fluids, and a couple of occupants. At altitude in Denver, and especially going up to the Eisenhower tunnel (11k ft altitude) the V6 is flat out huffing. Honestly this is a great alternative to full-hybrid models which I worry about on the trails and fording some of the rivers out here.

Second, I hope the delay in showing the production Wagoneer is because they’re fixing the rear window and pillar. Overall great design and detail on the concept, except for that area.

Third, when does the new GC actually start production? Does anybody know the dates now with the revised schedules and delays?

GC like the wagoneer would have likely be a concept to show.... also note that plant implementation was delayed by Covid.

As for the soreness about it being NA focused SO!! the Hybrid announced earlier primarily is Worldwide focus.

They should not announce everything at once.

3 row Grand Cherokee production is still slated for Q1 2021. Actually that's with Covid delay.

Production model presentation should be very soon. November or December are very likely.

I'm honestly wondering if some variation of WL will be shown as a "One more thing.." during the 392 Wrangler presentation.

So new model was just a V8 engine in the Wrangler?
HA HA...

When was a Wrangler last offered with a V8?

It is a big deal as there is a aftermarket fulfilling this at unbelievable margins. This is similar the Rubicon, it grabs at the margins being fulfilling the demand outside FCA.

Just watched the reveal vid. Pretty awesome but I'll be more excited when they 392 the Gladiator and Ram 1500. Why the 6.4 isn't available in the 1500 yet is beyond me and quite frustrating.

75% (350 lb ft) of torque just off idle is great.

A V8 engine package for the Wrangler, but it is only available on the Rubicon. I'm sorry, but the people in Auburn Hills nuked the refrigerator with Demon. Offerings like this Jeep Rubicon 6.4 offer some excitement, but the story is now getting old.

What is this Allpar.... Geez... hasn't been a V8 Since the CJ. If your want a top level Jeep without paying for a after-market conversion. This is a big deal.

I was surprised they used the SRT version instead of the Truck version. Maybe offer that down level and with the Gladiator.

Thanks for elucidating me with the perspective from american buyers. But when they said new vehicle I expect a new vehicle to be revealed. Not a new engine option, even if it fills a very significant and profitable niche.
