COLLECTORS: Hot Wheels RLC ’41 Willys Gasser Holiday Car!
Just In Time For The Holidays...
If you are part of the Hot Wheels Red Line Club (RLC), then you probably saw the group’s latest RLC exclusive model hit the internet yesterday. The ’41 Willys Gasser Holiday Car is here and ready to spread some serious holiday cheer.
The ’41 Willys Americar Coupe was produced by Willys-Overland Motors, from 1937 to 1942. The car which was a popular option for early drag racers gained a lot of attention at the track. Willys-Overland Motors would later be rolled into American Motor Corporation (AMC) and then Chrysler Corporation.
Diehard Hot Wheels fans are treated to a special vehicle each year. This year is a fan-favorite featuring the beloved Spectraflame Oxblood red paint job with “Stockin’ Stuffer” decals on the doors and festive tree décor on the hood and trunk. The white hard-top matches the candy cane-colored seats while the hinged hood reveals a chrome-plated supercharged engine.
The classic drag racer comes with gold-rimmed Real Riders 5-spoke mag wheels on the front and silver-hubbed Real Riders 5-spoke mag cheater wheels on the rear, which will beat a team of 8 tiny reindeer any day of the week.
