Citroën Launches the New Ami Buggy Quadricycle

The Weird Yet Playful Electric Vehicle That A 14-Year-Old Can Legally Drive

Citroën has introduced the all-new Ami Buggy, an electric quadricycle designed for those seeking a playful, outdoor adventure experience. With its compact and rugged look, the Ami Buggy brings a new level of freedom and fun to electric mobility. Whether cruising around town or exploring the great outdoors, this quirky, open-air ride promises a fun and affordable way to embrace adventure.

The Ami Buggy joins Citroën’s popular Ami range, which has been a hit across Europe since its debut five years ago. With more than 75,000 units sold, the Ami has redefined what’s possible in electric micro-mobility. It’s now available in a variety of styles, including the Ami for everyday use, the Ami Cargo for professionals, and now the Ami Buggy, designed for thrill-seekers who love being outdoors.

A Fresh New Look –

The new Ami Buggy boasts a design that’s as adventurous as its spirit. With no doors or roof, it invites you to fully experience the elements while you drive. Its rugged black metal hoops replace traditional doors, giving it a bold, off-road character. For those who want a bit more protection from the weather, there are optional zipped door covers that can be rolled up and stored when not in use. The soft-top sunroof adds a touch of freedom to the driving experience, perfect for letting the wind whip through your hair.

The Ami Buggy features 14-inch steel wheels with a stylish gold finish and black wheel centers adorned with Citroën’s iconic chevron logo. For those looking to make a statement, the Ami Buggy Palmeira version takes things up a notch with an invigorating yellow color pack, and an included mascot, Andy the robot, adds a playful touch.

Performance and Practicality –

Despite its compact and playful design, the Ami Buggy is more than just a fun ride. With a top speed of 28 mph (45 km/h) and a range of 46 miles (75 km) on a full charge, it offers enough power and range for leisurely drives around town or off-road adventures. The Ami Buggy is powered by a simple, easy-to-maintain electric drivetrain that can be fully charged in just 4 hours from a standard 220-volt outlet.

As with the rest of the Ami lineup, the Ami Buggy is accessible, easy to drive, and doesn’t require a driver’s license in some countries, making it perfect for younger drivers or those who want a simple, no-fuss way to get around. The compact size—measuring just 2.41 meters (7.9 feet) in length—also makes it incredibly easy to park and maneuver, even in tight spaces.

Customization and Color Packs –

Citroën offers several customization options for the Ami Buggy, allowing you to tailor the vehicle to your personality. The Ami is available with three distinct color packs: Spicy, Icy, and Minty, each designed to enhance the exterior and interior of the vehicle. These packs come with colorful wheel trims, door stickers, storage accessories, and a smartphone holder for added convenience.

For even more character, the Ami Buggy Palmeira version includes a yellow theme, complete with a set of vibrant stickers and the adorable Andy figurine, which can be placed on the dashboard for an added touch of charm.

Expanding the Ami Range –
