Chrysler’s 2021 Pacifica Touring Adds More Function, Style, & Features:

The most awarded minivan over the last four years with more than 125 honors and industry accolades, has gotten a revision for the 2021 model year. The Chrysler Pacifica enters the new model year looking to change people’s mindset about minivans with more standard safety features, updated styling, and the addition of all-wheel-drive (AWD) across the lineup. 

For those who are looking to step up from the budget-friendly 2021 Chrysler Voyager, the entry-level Chrysler Pacifica Touring adds a lot of premium content over its Voyager sibling. The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Touring, as with the entire Pacifica lineup, includes 14 new-as-standard safety features.

Additional standard content includes the new Uconnect 5 system, which features the largest standard radio touchscreen in its class with a 10.1-inch high-definition touchscreen, a 7-inch driver information display, and Type C USB ports, which allow devices to be charged up to four times faster than standard USB outlets. A new soft-touch instrument panel with accent stitching is standard, as well as second-row sunshades.

Interior standard features include class-exclusive Stow ‘n Go seating, seven-passenger seating (with eight-passenger seating available), eight-way power front seats, power sliding doors and liftgate, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, hands-free Bluetooth-integrated phone voice command, and three-zone automatic temperature controls. Pacifica Touring features a carryover of the 2020 model’s interior console.

Under the hood of the Pacifica Touring, both of the Touring gasoline-powered models come with the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 produces 287 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque and are mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The Hybrid Touring features the FCA-designed, innovative dual-motor eFlite electrically variable transmission (EVT) paired with a specially modified version of the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 gasoline engine. The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Touring delivers more than 80 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) in electric-only mode, an all-electric range of more than 30 miles, and a total range of more than 500 miles.

There are 10 exterior colors available for the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. Those colors are Ceramic Grey, Billet Silver, Bright White, Brilliant Black, Granite Crystal, Luxury White, Maximum Steel, Ocean Blue Metallic, Velvet Red, and the new Fathom Blue.

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Touring has a starting U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $35,045 for the Touring, $38,040 for the Touring AWD, and $39,995 for the Touring Hybrid. All prices exclude a $1,495 destination charge. For those who are living in Canada, the Pacifica Touring FWD has an MSRP of $44,795, while the Touring Hybrid carries a $48,295 price tag, and the Touring AWD starts at $53,995. All Canadian pricing excludes a $1,895 destination charge.

Ordering for the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica has opened. The revised minivans will be built at the Windsor Assembly Plant in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, with vehicles scheduled to start arriving in dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2020.
