For those Americans awaiting the heavy revised 2021 Chrysler Pacifica to hit lots, there might be a surprise waiting for you when the new minivans arrive. Unlike the Canadian market models, there will no longer be a front-wheel-drive (FWD) gasoline-powered versions offered on upper trim-level models. That’s right America, only hybrid FWD and all-wheel-drive (AWD) will be available on Limited and Pinnacle models.
The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Limited incorporates a new for 2021 premium console that flows seamlessly into the instrument panel, with soft-sided console panels trimmed in an attractive accent stitch. The Limited premium console provides dual-level storage with a large pass-through storage area and delivers 7.6 liters of covered console storage, a significant improvement from the 2020 Limited model. The premium console also includes a tambour door for center storage that is a half-inch wider and significantly longer than the 2020 model. The Limited interior is also dressed up with Brushed Hydro bezels on the instrument panel.

Under the hood of the Pacifica Limited, both the Canadian FWD gasoline models and Limited AWD models come with the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 produces 287 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque and are mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The Limited Hybrid features the FCA-designed, innovative dual-motor eFlite electrically variable transmission (EVT) paired with a specially modified version of the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 gasoline engine.
The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Limited has a starting U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $45,845 for the Limited Hybrid or $48,390 for the Limited AWD model. Both prices exclude a $1,495 destination charge. For those who are living in Canada, the Pacifica Limited FWD has an MSRP of $56,295, while the Limited Hybrid carries a $57,995 price tag, and the Limited AWD starts at $59,795. All Canadian pricing excludes a $1,895 destination charge.
Ordering for the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica has opened. The revised minivans will be built at the Windsor Assembly Plant in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, with vehicles scheduled to start arriving in dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2020.
