Stellantis (FCA US, LLC) is recalling approximately 21 units of its 2024 to 2025 Chrysler Pacifica (RU) minivansthat were built with an incorrect radio, which may prevent the rearview camera image from displaying. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 111, “Rear Visibility.”
Some 2024 to 2025 model year Chrysler Pacifica vehicles may have been built with an incorrectly specified radio, which may result in the rearview camera image not being displayed.

The suspect production period began on August 26, 2024, when the first affected 2024 model year vehicle was produced, and ended on September 9, 2024, when the last affected 2025 model year vehicle was produced. The suspect population was determined using vehicle production records.
Similar vehicles not included in this recall were either built before or after the suspect period or were built with a correctly specified radio.

A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver’s view of what is behind the vehicle. A blank screen will appear in place of the rearview image. If the driver does not heed the blank screen and fails to otherwise ensure it is safe to reverse, a vehicle crash could occur.
There is no prior warning before the failure occurs. However, the driver will notice that the rearview image is not displayed when the vehicle is placed into reverse.
