Chrysler Pacifica Grizzly Peak Concept Breaks Cover

The Ultimate Adventure Minivan

When Chrysler said they were going all-in on van life, they weren’t kidding. Just last month at the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals, Chrysler CEO Christine Feuell revealed that the brand was working on an overlanding Pacifica. Now we’ve got our first real look, and it’s called the Chrysler Pacifica Grizzly Peak Concept.

The Grizzly Peak Concept takes everything people already love about the Pacifica—the space, comfort, and technology—and adds serious off-road attitude. Chrysler lifted the suspension nearly three inches, bolted on beefy 31-inch BFGoodrich KO2 all-terrain tires, and fitted 18-inch Foreshadow wheels. This isn’t your average grocery-getting minivan—it’s built to tackle trails.

The name Grizzly Peak isn’t just a catchy label. It comes from a high mountain summit in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, perfectly fitting the adventurous spirit of this concept. Chrysler will debut the concept at Overland Expo Mountain West in Loveland, Colorado (August 22–24, 2025), where van-life enthusiasts will get their first chance to see it in person.

Inside, Chrysler ditched the third-row seats for a flat cargo floor—perfect for tossing in gear or stretching out to sleep. There’s also a 115-volt power outlet in the back, tie-downs for securing cargo, and a set of Mopar-branded stackable totes. The interior gets custom touches too, like Katzkin leather seating, orange seat belts, a sport steering wheel, and a unique gray-and-titanium trim theme.

On the outside, it’s ready for serious adventure. A Rhino-Rack roof platform holds extra gear, while an ARB retractable awning and roof-mounted TYRI LED lights make it campsite-ready. Protective lower-body cladding, Mopar splash guards, and additional Baja Designs fog lamps round out the package.

Chrysler’s Message: Minivans Can Do It All –

Chrysler Pacifica Grizzly Peak Concept. (Chrysler).

“We’ve been following van life for years, and we know adventurers really value the versatility the Pacifica delivers,” Feuell told us. “Our design team lifted the suspension, added functional features, and tailored the cabin for sleeping. We’re excited to get feedback from van-life adventurers on our newest concept.”

The Pacifica Grizzly Peak is more than a styling exercise—it’s Chrysler testing the waters for a new kind of customer. With the brand celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2025, this concept shows that Chrysler isn’t just looking backward at its legacy, but forward at where the market is heading.

The Pacifica remains the best-selling and most awarded minivan in America, and with this off-road-inspired concept, Chrysler is proving that adventure doesn’t stop when the pavement ends.
