The 2025 Attitude aims to offer modern features and a striking design, for an affordable price in the compact sedan segment.

A New Direction for Dodge in Mexico –

The 2025 Dodge Attitude represents a significant shift from its predecessor, based on the Mitsubishi Mirage. The new model features sleek headlights, a large grille with a black horizontal bar, and distinctive Dodge badges. These elements give the Attitude a modern and aggressive look, aiming to attract a wide range of enthusiasts in Mexico.

Under the hood, the 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, sourced directly from the GAC-Trumpchi Empow, ensures that the Attitude delivers both power and efficiency. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission further enhances the driving experience, providing smooth shifts and quick acceleration.

A Strategic Move –

Dodge’s strategy of introducing Chinese-based vehicles to its Mexican lineup reflects the current market’s demand for affordable yet feature-rich compact cars. With the new Attitude, Dodge continues to offer a viable option for customers seeking a modern compact sedan at a competitive price point. The Attitude’s combination of style, technology, and performance makes it a strong contender in the Mexican market. It will arrive in Mexican dealers in September.

Much better product with an aggressive Dodge look at a reasonable price. Should do well in Mexico. Dodge, hope your paying attention to the sales as a compact sedan might help our domestic brand. Base it off the Hornet and off we go.

Ouch! Talking about the Dart is painful. I thought the Dart was potentially an outstanding car, that suffered the same fate lingering in the mismanagement leadership overweighted with Euro think executives we see today. They poorly mangled the launch, produced initially a vehicle for American consumers powered by a European market powertrain to achieve higher fuel mileage numbers that destroyed the car right out of the gate. The import biased media took it from there bashing the Dart at every turn. Yes I see some Dart in this sedan and the memories are not pleasant. If this sedan succeeds big time, Dodge should bring a Hornet based sedan and hatchback coupe to the Dodge lineup and build it here. Oh the mismanagement pattern of failure is so pervasive with these mergers it hurts.

I get more of a Kia vibe, definitely the Asian Crease design language.

Is there a law that says that these Dodge rebadges need to be hit with the ugly stick in the front, or what's the deal here with this and the Mexican Journey having awful front fascias?
