CAUGHT: Euro-Spec 2024 Jeep® Wrangler Sahara 4xe

Jeep® enthusiasts in Europe can now look forward to the upcoming 2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 4xe, as photos of the new model have recently surfaced online. The 2024 Wrangler lineup was unveiled by the Jeep brand last month at the New York International Auto Show (NYIAS), where the North American offerings were revealed.

However, it was not revealed at the time what the 2024 model year would bring to the European market. But, thanks to our friend Walter Vayr (@GabetzSPYUnit), Jeep fans in Europe now have a sneak peek at what’s to come.

According to the photos, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 4xe has been designed with a bigger and bulkier front bumper to meet European pedestrian safety regulations. The model also features a darker grille and 18-inch multi-spoke wheels, similar to previous models. However, chrome accents, standard on the Sahara trim, are absent on this model. Under the hood, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe continues to be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine, integrated with two electric motors and a 400-volt battery pack. This combination provides the vehicle with an all-electric range of up to 35 kilometers (21 miles), instant torque, and the ability to drive almost silently off-road.

While the photos clearly indicate what to expect from the European version of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 4xe, it’s still unknown whether the factory installed 8,000-lb. capacity Warn winch will be available in the European market.

The updated Wrangler’s refined interior has premium features, technology, Jeep functionality, and versatility. The heritage-inspired center stack features a clean, sculpted form that complements the horizontal dashboard design. A wrapped instrument panel features new soft-touch surfaces, in fabric or polyurethane, with contrast accent stitching. New AMPS bracket provisions are now featured on top of the dash. In addition, a new 12.3-inch Uconnect touchscreen is available, which will surely bring the Wrangler more in touch with today’s other offerings.
