CAUGHT: 2019 Ram 2500 Laramie Mega Cab 4×4:
Our Most Detailed Look At The Upcoming Heavy Duty...
One of our readers, just happened to come across this pre-production 2019 Ram 2500 Heavy Duty in Laramie trim while dropping their spouse off for work at the FCA US Headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan. This is the first time we have gotten a look at the Laramie trim level of the heavily updated Ram Heavy Duty without it’s camouflage.
This is our closest and most detailed look yet and the front end of the 2019 Ram Heavy Duty trucks. Standard on the Laramie models are the new LED headlamps. The part that really sticks out about the headlamp styling is the LED signature lights, which we have seen recently at night thanks to our spy photographers. The bold new chrome grille on Laramie, is a chrome lovers delight. Compared to the all-new 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie, the Heavy Duty front styling is a lot more radical in departure than the outgoing model.
While still considered a 4th generation Ram Truck, the updated Heavy Duty keeps its “big-rig” styling. Underneath the “A” in the RAM text in the grille is one of the new cameras for the new 360-degree camera system. Unlike the Ram 1500, you can get this new camera system with towing mirrors on the updated Heavy Duty.
With less than a week away from it’s debut at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, we are getting exciting to learn the core specifications of this new Ram Truck. Stay tuned to HDRams.com and MoparInsiders.com for all the information as it breaks on Monday, January 14th.
