BREAKING: Antonio Filosa Named New Stellantis CEO
Veteran Exec Steps Up to Lead Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram Parent

Stellantis has officially named Antonio Filosa as its next Chief Executive Officer (CEO), marking a major leadership shift for the parent company of American brands like Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, and Ram. Filosa will take over CEO duties beginning June 23, 2025, following a unanimous vote by the Stellantis Board of Directors.

The announcement follows an extensive internal and external search led by Executive Chairman John Elkann, who praised Filosa’s leadership during a particularly challenging time for the industry.
“Antonio’s deep understanding of our Company, including its people who he views as our core strength, and of our industry equip him perfectly for the role of Chief Executive Officer in this next and crucial phase of Stellantis’ development,” said Elkann.
“I have worked closely with Antonio over the past six months during which time his responsibilities have increased, and his strong and effective leadership spanning both North and South America at a moment of unprecedented challenge have confirmed the excellent qualities he brings to the role.”
Filosa, who has spent over 25 years within the company, has held key leadership roles across Latin America and North America. As Chief Operating Officer for South America, he pushed FIAT into the top sales position and supercharged growth across other key brands like Peugeot, Citroën, Ram, and Jeep®. He played a pivotal role in establishing the Pernambuco manufacturing plant and launching the Jeep brand in Brazil—now Jeep’s biggest market outside the U.S.
In December 2024, Filosa was promoted to COO of the Americas, where he quickly started tackling long-standing issues in the U.S. market. That included cleaning up excess dealer inventory, reshaping leadership, ramping up product launches, and building stronger relationships with dealers, suppliers, and union partners.
As former Jeep® CEO, Filosa also helped expand the brand’s footprint globally, especially in Europe, where the Jeep Avenger has emerged as a top seller.
“It is my great honor to be named the CEO of this fantastic Company,” said Filosa.
“I am grateful to our Chairman, John Elkann, and to the members of our Board for their leadership, particularly in these recent months, and for the confidence they have placed in me to lead our business during this pivotal time for our industry.

I have always been inspired by the immense talent, passion and commitment of our people at Stellantis and the power of trusting our teams to achieve excellence. We have the world’s best and most iconic brands in automotive history and an over 100-year heritage of innovation. That legacy, combined with our relentless dedication to giving our customers the products and services they love, will continue to be key to our success.”
When he assumes the CEO role in June, Filosa will also announce a new leadership team, as Stellantis prepares for its next phase—balancing EV development, high vehicle pricing, and shifting market demand across its 14 global brands.
