Vehicles like this Durango remind us of they way things used to be. The Durango and Dakota shared a lot of parts. These midsized vehicles are what I think an ideal size. The next generation of these two seemed to have lost their way with both style and size. Perhaps the company was correct in making the 3-row SUV larger, since they had nothing larger in the lineup after the Ramcharger was cancelled north of the Rio Grande. The Dakota is a different story, if someone wanted more room there was still a Ram 1500 available.
