6K-Mile 2004 Dodge Ram SRT-10 Hits BringATrailer

Low Miles. Big V10. No Apologies.

Every once in a while, something special pops up that reminds us just how wild the early-2000s performance era really was. This 2004 Dodge Ram SRT-10 Regular Cab, now live on BringATrailer, is exactly that kind of machine—raw, loud, and unapologetically American.

Finished in Flame Red over Medium Slate Gray leather and suede, this truck shows just under 6,000 original miles, making it a rare survivor from a time when Dodge decided the best answer to “too much power” was even more power.

A Viper Heart in a Ram Body –

At the center of the SRT-10 story is the 8.3-liter (505 cubic-inch) VIPER V10, borrowed directly from the Dodge Viper SRT-10 and factory-rated at 500 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque. This wasn’t a gimmick or a detuned novelty engine—it was the real deal. Dodge paired it with a Tremec T-56 6-speed manual transmission, sending power to the rear wheels through a Dana 60 limited-slip rear axle—no traction control tricks. No filters. Just brute force.

Fluid services were completed in October 2025, and with only about 50 miles added by the current owner, this truck has spent most of its life preserved rather than driven into the ground.

Purpose-Built Performance –

The SRT-10 wasn’t just about the engine. Dodge lowered the suspension compared to a standard Ram, added stiffer springs, and even included an extra rear-axle damper to reduce axle hop under hard launches. Polished 22-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 305-section Toyo Proxes ST III tires fill the wheel arches, while four-wheel ventilated disc brakes bring everything to a stop.

Visually, it still looks as aggressive as it did two decades ago. The domed hood with its integrated scoop, SRT-specific front air dam with fog lights, lower body cladding, and the signature rear spoiler all remain intact. There is a small paint chip on the driver-side door and a few light scratches—honest imperfections that come with age, not abuse.

Driver-Focused Interior –

Inside, the SRT-10 blends muscle truck attitude with early-2000s comfort. The bolstered seats feature SRT-10 embroidery, and the cabin includes a power-adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, cruise control, push-button start, metal pedal covers, and a Hurst shifter. The Infinity sound system with subwoofer and 6-disc CD changer rounds out the period-correct vibe.

The gauge cluster includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,000-rpm redline, and full analog readouts. An oil temperature gauge mounted on the A-pillar reinforces that this truck was built for people who actually care about what’s happening under the hood.

Documentation and Extras –

This example comes with its original window sticker, showing delivery to Victorville Motors in California, along with factory options and an original total price of $46,485. The sale also includes literature, memorabilia, spare parts, and aftermarket components, plus a clean Carfax report and a clean Utah title.

The Dodge Ram SRT-10 was never meant to make sense—and that’s exactly why it matters. With ultra-low miles, proper documentation, and the kind of drivetrain we’ll never see again, this Regular Cab SRT-10 is a time capsule from Dodge’s most unfiltered performance era.

Bidding is live now and ends Monday, December 22, at 2:37 p.m. EDT.
