Jeep® Dominates Again As Team No. 129 Wins Fourth Rebelle Rally In Five Years
Nena Barlow and Teralin Petereit Prove Their Off-Road Mastery in the Gladiator Mojave

The Jeep® brand has once again proven its unmatched off-road dominance, taking the crown at the 10th annual Rebelle Rally. Team No. 129 — made up of off-road veterans Nena Barlow and Teralin Petereit — claimed the overall title for the fourth time in five years, solidifying their legacy as one of the most successful duos in the event’s history.

Covering more than 1,700 miles of grueling desert terrain through Nevada and California, the Rebelle Rally is the longest off-road navigation rally in the United States. Over eight intense days, teams are stripped of modern navigation tools — no GPS, cell phones, or outside help — relying solely on maps, compasses, and pure driving skill. It’s a test of endurance, teamwork, and the raw capability of the vehicles they pilot.
This year, Barlow and Petereit tackled the course behind the wheel of a stock 2025 Jeep Gladiator Mojave, the only open-air pickup in the rally and the sole Jeep model to carry the Desert Rated badge. The victory not only highlights their unmatched synergy but also reinforces the Gladiator’s reputation as a serious desert performer. Their first two Rebelle Rally victories came in the Wrangler 4xe Rubicon, while the past two have been in the Gladiator Mojave — showing how Jeep’s lineup continues to evolve while maintaining legendary toughness.

Aamir Ahmed, Global Head of Jeep® Off-Road and EVs, praised the duo’s achievement, stating, “Their success showcases the unmatched capability and durability of the Jeep Gladiator. The Rebelle Rally is the ultimate proving ground, and we’re proud to support competitors who embody the adventurous spirit of Jeep.”
This year also marked the debut of Team Fun•Duh•Mentals (No. 101), featuring automotive journalist Lyn Woodward and real estate professional Renée Vento, both competing in a stock Gladiator Mojave. Though new as a team, their combined experience brought strong representation for Jeep’s ongoing commitment to women in off-road motorsports.

Jeep’s legacy at the Rebelle Rally is unmatched — claiming eight of ten overall titles and five of nine Bone Stock awards. Over a third of the competitors continue to choose personal Jeep 4x4s, a testament to the brand’s loyal following and proven performance in the harshest conditions.
As the Rebelle Rally celebrates its 10th anniversary, Jeep continues to stand tall as a champion of adventure, empowerment, and capability — proving once again that when it comes to conquering the desert, nothing beats a Jeep.
