2026 Ram Heavy Duty Recall Issued for Incorrect Brake Warning Light

Nearly 2,900 Trucks Face FMVSS 101 Noncompliance

Stellantis (FCA US, LLC) is recalling approximately 2,885 units of its 2026 Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups, as well as 3500, 4500, and 5500 Chassis Cabs, due to an instrument panel that may display an incorrect brake system warning light. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 101, “Controls and Displays.”

An incorrect warning light may fail to alert the driver to critical safety information, increasing the risk of a crash. Some Heavy Duty vehicles may have been built with the incorrect 3.5-inch Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC), which displays the ISO symbol brake system warning light instead of the required “BRAKE” light.

Vehicles affected are as follows:

Model Units Produced Production Start Production End
26MY Ram 2500 2,453 May 06, 2025 Jul 31, 2025
26MY Ram 3500 352 Jul 04, 2025 Jul 31, 2025

Similar vehicles not included in this recall were built after the suspect period or with a different cluster.

Marelli North America Inc. is the supplier of the cluster (Part Nos. 68740411AB, 68740411AC, 68740412AB, 68740412AC).
