2026 Dodge Charger Gets Bold New Color Options
Three New Colors Join the Lineup as Two Say Goodbye

Dodge fans, get ready—because the 2026 Dodge Charger is about to add some serious personality to its paint booth.

If you’ve been keeping up with the all-new Dodge Charger (LB), you know the brand has kept the color lineup pretty tight since its debut. Compared to the last-generation Charger (LD) and Challenger (LA)—which were known for wild and bright “High-Impact” paint options—the new Charger started off a little conservative. For the 2024 model year, we saw a limited selection with:
-
Redeye (PR6)
-
Diamond Black (PXJ)
-
Triple Nickel (PSE)
-
White Knuckle (PW7)
-
After Dark (PPS)

Dodge upped the ante slightly with the ultra-short 2025 model year, which lasted only three months, adding:
-
Bludicrous (PBJ)
-
Peel Out (PL4)
-
Destroyer Grey (PDN)
But now, thanks to Dodge dealer guides for the upcoming 2026 model year, we’ve got the scoop on what’s next—and the paint game is heating up.

Two current colors, Peel Out (PL4) and Destroyer Grey (PDN), are heading into retirement soon. Peel Out is scheduled to be phased out in September, and Destroyer Grey will follow it out in October. These colors will be replaced by three brand-new shades that start rolling out this winter.
First up is Green Machine (PFP), arriving in December. If that code sounds familiar, it’s because it’s the same shade known as Olive Green on the Ram trucks. It’s a military-style green with a rugged tone that should look killer on the new Charger’s widebody lines.

Also debuting in December is Purple Haze (PH9). Dodge fans might recognize that paint code—it was used decades ago for Auburn and Dark Mahogany—but this version is a whole new take. Purple Haze is a bold, deep purple that gives off major muscle car vibes. Fun fact: both Green Machine and Purple Haze were actually teased back in 2022 during the SEMA Show in a now-deleted Dodge video. Luckily, MoparInsiders.com was able to save some screenshots from that preview.
Finally, in January, we’ll see the arrival of a third color, currently known by its paint code PBS. While it doesn’t have an official name yet (although it’s currently referred to as Steel Blue in the order guide), it’s expected to receive a creative label, like the rest of the lineup. This new blue tone is noticeably different than the old Deep Water Blue (which also used PBS back in 2010–2011), leaning more toward a steel-like hue that should pop under any lighting.

Dodge hasn’t confirmed if even more colors are coming. Still, the brand recently tested out several new High-Impact paint samples at SoCal SpringFest earlier this year, so don’t be surprised if the palette expands even more.
Long story short, the 2026 Dodge Charger lineup is finally getting the color variety it deserves. Whether you’re into stealthy tones or eye-catching shades, Dodge seems committed to giving fans the same kind of visual punch that made the last-gen cars so iconic.
Stay tuned—because things are only getting more colorful from here.
