2021 Ram 1500 Classic Warlocks Land On Dealer Lots:

The Popular Ram Package, Is Back For 2021...

The Ram 1500 Classic has played a very important role in the RAM brand’s portfolio, over the past two years. While the aging fourth-generation Ram half-ton offers buyers the most affordable way to get into a full-size pickup, it still proves to be competitive in today’s truck market attracting some people who thought a full-size pickup would be out of their budget.

Now arriving on dealer lots, the 2021 Ram 1500 Classic Warlock returns with the same fourth-generation Rebel looks as before but adds some new features for the new model year.

The Ram 1500 Classic Warlock features a black grille with bold R-A-M lettering, 20-inch semi-gloss black aluminum wheels, front and rear powder coated bumpers, 1-in. factory lift, black wheel flares, projector headlamps with dark bezels, LED rear tail lamps, optional unique hood decals, heavy-duty rear shocks, and an optional Sport hood.

Starting out with the most obvious, the wheels get an update for the new model year. Ditching the Gloss Black-painted wheels from the Express, the Warlock now adopts the 20-inch aluminum wheels from the fourth-generation Ram 1500 Sport painted in Gloss Black of course. The wheel change gives a more upscale look to the affordable package.

Another thing we have noticed is the absence of “Warlock” decals across the size of the pickup box. When it debuted in 2019, the four-wheel-drive (4×4) offerings had bold “4×4” decals located on the box and were then replaced with “Warlock” text the following year. The branding helped make the trucks stick out, but now it appears that it is gone despite us seeing a pre-production tester model still featuring it.

Another big change is the disappearance of the standard LED fog lights with the package. They are still available as part of the Utility Group for an additional $100. Also absent are the standard tow-hooks that helped give the truck a more aggressive off-road theme. You can still get tow-hooks with the optional Protection Group which also adds a full-size spare tire, transfer case skid-plate shield, and front suspension skid-plate.

The Warlock is available with either the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 delivering 305 horsepower and 269 lb.-ft. of torque or the legendary 5.7-liter HEMI V8 making 395 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft. of torque, both are mated to TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmissions. Buyers can also choose between two-wheel-drive (4×2) or 4×4 drivetrains in a Quad Cab with 6-foot, 4-inch box or Crew Cab with 5-foot, 7-inch box.

1500 Classic Still a great selling truck, in my area. It still outsells the new model. I love the Warlock.

Looks like it got the seats from the 4.5 gen HD truck. Dig the all-black interior and upgraded door panels. Wish all that was available on the express.

I've been anxiously awaiting this truck to be released, Ram has been taking their sweet a** time and still haven't updated their website since they're too concerned with the new gen and the TRX. I've been eager ever since you reported there would be an off-road package because I'm gonna custom order one from the dealership my Mom works at, this will be 1st brand new vehicle, my 97 Dakota with the 5 speed has over 250K on the clock and it's tired...

I like that they are using the wheels off of the Sport trim instead of the Express, I finally found a listing for the 2021 Warlock with the off-road package and 17" wheels, I'm still not sure whether or not I would prefer them or the 20" Sport wheels. The listing is here:

And you can see on the Monroney label here for that truck, the Warlock All-Terrain Package is $195
