2019 Jeep Compass – Gets Mild Upgrades For The New Model Year:
Latitude Models Get The Most Of The 2019 Upgrades:
Since it’s debut as a late 2017 model, the Jeep Compass has been a hot seller not just in the North American market but around the world. For the 2019 model year, the Jeep Compass receives very minor upgrades.
Now standard for the 2019 model year, the Compass ditches the standard 5.0-inch UConnect stereo unit to the much improved 7.0-inch UConnect stereo unit. The 7.0-inch UConnect is now included as standard equipment on Sport and Latitude models. This means Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is now standard on all trim levels.
Other improvements for the 2019 model year include the option of now having Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) added to the Advanced Safety Group. The Advanced Safety Group is available on all trims, except for the Sport. Compass Trailhawk receives a new 17-inch wheel design, which isn’t that far off of the 2018 Trailhawk option. The Premium Lighting Group which includes Bi-Xenon HID headlamps with LED signature and LED tail lamps is now available on Latitude models for 2019.
One new exterior paint color joins the lineup for the 2019 model year, which happens to be Sting Gray.
The 2019 Jeep Compass still maintains it’s best-in-class 4×4 capability, highway fuel economy (32 MPG) and the most technology and connectivity in it’s class. Ordering for the 2019 model is currently open.
