Dodge Needs A More Affordable Entry-Level Performance Vehicle

No less radical take than had they brought out Viper with a Hellcat and 8HP… My point is this: we cannot anoint the new car some great successor when it’s unproven. The Hurricane is still unproven long term, and the EV is….well I’ll say a total dead end, but let’s go with unproven as well...

Dodge Needs A More Affordable Entry-Level Performance Vehicle

They killed it. Period. Stop posting the same worthless drivel When they bring more to the table than 797hp, maybe, MAYBE you’ll have a point. Until then, smackin those gums. And it’s STILL not a V8. Killed

Dodge Needs A More Affordable Entry-Level Performance Vehicle

I will reiterate, they killed Charger. Charger had a very simple and successful formula, V8, RWD, killer looks. The V6 wasn’t even viable until Pentastar came out for ‘11.

This Isn't The First Charger To Feature A Performance I6 Engine

Valve rod? What is that? Never seen someone that knows everything be soooo clueless. There’s a pushrod. And a valve stem. But, no valve rod. Connecting rods smart guy.

Is Stellantis Quietly Cutting Options On Certain Vehicles?

If you have anything new and headlights are only $300, that’s a bargain today. USED Chrysler 300 headlights change for 800-1000 all day. New headlights are well over 1500

    The future is EV??

Except battery packs are in the ~$25k + range. Not including labor. A Pentastar doesn’t cost that much. Hell a Cummins crate engine is $15k.

Dodge Needs A More Affordable Entry-Level Performance Vehicle

There you are, bashing new members. Hint: their opinion is just as valid (more so for most of us tired of your drivel….) than yours. Pound sand. And yup, they killed Charger. It’s a fact. The much loved V8 badass sedan is dead. Dodge, as it sits currently, is dead. If nothing in the horizon...

No. Real solution is V8, stripper. Boom. Batteries cost more

UAW And Stellantis At Odds Over Recent Layoffs

In a sea of nothing new, yup it matters. And since it matters mr knowitall, Ram HD cab is circa 2009. Oh but we ignore that. Nothing new, Chrysler is still….well nothing. Dodge has Hornet and dated Durango, Ram has a generation old platform and half-Gen old for 1500, yep. Funny how you gloss...

The 6 goes in the engine bay. Where you been?

Dodge Needs A More Affordable Entry-Level Performance Vehicle

They never put a V6 in the Dart. Only 200

Dodge Needs A More Affordable Entry-Level Performance Vehicle

I agree they need one, but they killed it. Hello Dart, specifically Dart SRT. It was to be a turbo 4, AWD, rocket and many, including myself, waited. They said it was coming, Gilles said himself it was coming, and poof, like a fart in the wind, Marchionne did away with it. To this day one of the...

Is Stellantis Quietly Cutting Options On Certain Vehicles?

We are close to a reckoning. The insane prices….its not going to last. Can’t. I hope. When things sit and don’t sell, they will have to lower prices. I can think of all sorts of things that have doubled or nearly, or skyrocketed, from tools to vehicles, and it’s not a path to success. We just...

Stellantis Exec Says Hydrogen-Powered Ram 5500 Is Coming

Natural gas has been done. That’s old news. Tried it, failed. Hydrogen has far more potential than electric could ever dream of, but absolutely zero infrastructure. If it’s the Cummins hydrogen then it should be a good option. However, there isn’t a single fill station in my state. Not a one...

This Isn't The First Charger To Feature A Performance I6 Engine

I don’t see any issues with the styling personally. The lack of food scallops? Well the previous car had those and nothing else that remotely resembled a Gen 2 Charger. Now the whole car does The next level will have to be 750+

Dodge Charger Chief Engineer Discusses New Electric Daytona

Incorrect. There is nothing “superior” about the Hurricane. I know, I know, you will gladly chirp about whatever they cram down your throat and you’ll love it, but reality says otherwise. For someone to ignorantly claim a brand new engine is superior to a known entity is again, foolish. Oh it...

    EVs are dead

I’m not sure what inroads Chinese cars make in America. I hope minimal but hey, I can see a point where one could hop on Amazon and order a BYD. I hope not but….. Of course I recall vividly seeing my first Kia back in the ‘90’s and wondering what on Earth it was. Same with Daewoo. Daewoo is...

    demon on the track

That’s unfortunate if true. Although, slamming cars out during and after a strike, not overly surprising.
